Laytrix is delighted to have won funding from Innovate UK as part of the Launchpad – Net Zero – Tees Valley Competition. Our application for development of a prototype to facilitate the cost effective installation of tendon mooring systems for floating offshore wind turbines was deemed “a detailed innovation that improves on state of the art and would deliver towards Net Zero objectives”.

The technology builds upon our patents for installation and recovery of steel catenary’s and we are excited to move this into the offshore renewables sector.
